Allow me to take a moment to explain what you are about to engage and read. This is something that was in part inspired by Gary Vee. Over the last 18 months I have listened to him preach about documenting the journey and not faking exactly where you are. Then the idea hit me to add this section.

Yes, you are going to read my actual thoughts and feelings as I continue to push on the Hollywood Wall and deal with disappoint and rejection, in my quest to sign a multi-project production deal.

Why? - Two reason. First, lets say 3 years from now or 5 years or 7 years and I finally get my break OR even better, I sign my multi-project production deal with a studio or streaming service, I will have publicly shown and officially on the record real info to aspiring Film Directors, Producers, Actors what all I have went through, and this can give them encouragement not to quit and see what others felt in the process.

How cool would it have been to read Jennifer Lawrence's battle or process before she was cast for Hunger Games? Or Henry Cavill before when he was working as a restaurant before he was cast as Superman.

Second, I believe this could be a great way to connect with a serious decision maker. Maybe in fantasy land - as you are a big wig and very powerful person on influence in Hollywood, you will remember some of the things I'm mentioning in this section and might actually give me a shot or a chance to test for a scene.

I will do my best to not censor myself - but I guess that can be good and bad. Either way - readers beware- because I will be very honest and direct.

March 25 - I happen to score 2 pitch meetings with serious decision makers. Very nervous but excited. Either the ideas are good OR they dont like them - either way I will find out soon.

Feb. 25, 2019 - Last night was the first time in 4 years I watched an awards show and wasn't pissed off. I actually got out of the habit of seeing those cats on the red carpet and being pissed I was in mix or being interviewed or there. Last week, I thought about what Tony Robbins says to switch your thought process. I decided to watch the Oscars last night with the thought in my head that one day Ill be there. And I decided to take notes and review those notes today. I used last night to try to increase my understanding of film making and why this film OR that film was nominated. I don't think anyone as a clue as to how the winners are decided. I did notice a patter of several nominees were previously nominated before for other work.  The trades are reporting that Spike was pissed last night. I don't know how much of that I believe. He seemed pretty happy on social about winning at least 1 award.  I think seeing him win last night is a great example of not giving up. As pissed and upset as he has been through the years, last night he got the trophy. I cant help be think, what if he would have retired 2 years ago or 3 years ago. Last night would have never happened for him. Keep digging and pushing I guess. DH
